Many of you wish that you had more energy, even if you were more productive than average.
The current state of the world demands the best from people (just like any previous period in time), but there’s something extra. In this iteration of human society, meritocracy is highly regarded to a certain extent.
Sure, social skills, heritage, and the ability to manipulate synchronicity is still what matters the most, but with the addition of meritocracy, everything changes.
However, the people with good technical skills but bad soft skills tend to also be bad at emotional management.
Which brings us to the issue of productivity and being able to direct your being in the path you want it to.
If you’re reading this, and you feel that it resonates with you, then fret not. You only need an aid to mimic the lacking emotional management.
You need a sufficiently developed imagination for this. If you can imagine a red square and rotate it in your mind’s eye, then you’re good enough. If not, practice until you can.
Then, during the day, you need to do this. As you start having feelings of stress, inadequacy, nihilism, emotional pain, imagine a small cabin in your mind’s eye.
As you enter the cabin, you find two pipes.
One of them has ‘Stress’ (This is a stand in for whatever emotional issue is annoying you at the moment, for example the deadline, or getting made fun of, or stress, or anxiety, or even fear and anger)
The other has ‘Goal’ (Can be diet, or improving a skill, or studying, or working on your project, or talking to stangers)
Imagine that a transparent hose is plugged to the ‘stress’ pipe, and a green fluid is flowing nonstop into the pipe. As you look closer, there’s a faucet that can be used to stop the flow of the liquid installed in the hose.
You turn off the faucet, and the liquid stops moving. Take a deep breathe at this point. Inhale, pause, then exhale as you feel a weight pulling off your shoulders.
However, we’re not done yet.
You’ll remove the transparent hose from the ‘stress’ pipe, and plug into the ‘goal’ pipe. Then, you’ll open the faucet again.
With that, you feel a sense of peace pervading your whole being, and a euphoria like never before. You feel closer to your goal, as if you were one and the same.
Then, get out of the small red cabin, and close the door behind you.
VoilĂ , you’ve changed the energetic flow. Do it at least once a day, and whenever you feel distracted from your goal by some unnecessary emotion.
After a while, you’ll get a hand of things, and you’ll be able to achieve the same effect without having to imagine anything.
Just so you know, stress is there for a reason, and it’s usually a good one, although most of the time it’s blown out of proportion.
Maybe your goal isn’t worth the squeeze, maybe that job you’re chasing really isn’t suitable for you, maybe, maybe, maybe.
You’ll be leaving things unresolved if you live your life this way, but hey, if you ask me, then I say it’s the best option to acquire healthy emotional management skills.
It’s definitely better to do things this way than to listen to anxiety telling you that being an agoraphobic bum in an underground basement is better than learning some useful skill or a new hobby, because you feel unsafe in unfamiliar situations.
Light speed to you, and remember that you’re a being of light before everything. Yes, it’s true. We’re waves.
Today’s recommended reading: Reverend Insanity (It’s a webnovel that got banned for its transformational power on reader! If you read any of the recommended reading, then try this)
Today’s blurb:
I’m working more than ever, and I’m happy with things. I looked into a nearby public library, and I’m going to register there soon. My room gives me sleepy vibes, and so, I want to have a different space that I can anchor the studying vibes to. We’ll see how this all goes, and I’ll tell you about my school performance as the time goes by the way.
