Do small things everyday. Things that you’re not accustomed to.
Tidy your room when you wake up.
Clean after yourself when you eat.
Wash your face once a day.
Take a shower once a day.
Of course, at first, you’ll have difficulty trying to incorporate major changes in your habits.
However, the more you get these small wins, the more easily you’ll be able to convince your brain that major change is possible.
So long as you have power over the story inside your head, you’ll become an actor instead of a mere observer in the grand scheme of things.

I have a test tomorrow, and based on how much effort I put in, it’s unlikely for me to ace it. Heck, just passing might be a stretch. However, I won’t let that dampen my mood. Once the test is in front of me, I’ll do my absolute best and whatever happens, happens. Still, from now on, I’ll do better, as I’m now able to see my reality more clearly, and that investing in my studies will have great returns in as little as three years. One of the best investments!
