Instead of chasing butterflies and wild dreams, take a step back and look around you.
Is your current situation conducive to the thoughts/goals/dreams/fears you have?
Does your mental world have any potential of actually manifesting in the real world without making unreasonable sacrifices?
How likely is it for that bad thing to occur? Not that likely, and even if it does, are the repercussions worth the pain you make yourself go through?
How likely is if for your biggest dream to occur? Maybe, but not without cutting some corners along the way and minimizing unnecessary time spends and energy investments.
Being smart is one thing, and being realistic is another.
Life happens, and circumstances (good & bad) happen, so you must always have a good understanding of your current position on the board, and how much wiggle room you actually have.
Some people are fine with having no social life for a long while if it means getting closer to their goals, while others would rather give up instead of having to suffer of loneliness.
Thus, the second type of people would need to cheat to have his cake and eat it too. Having daily meet ups with friends, weekly parties, and trips every now and then isn’t bad, but it takes a lot of time and energy.
Moreover, having a job on the side while studying a demanding college degree is equally frustrating. You’d need to be as realistic as possible to maintain the both of them.
Stay rooted, and eyes on the prize!
My only advice for you when it comes to achieve goals is this: do the thing.

Don’t think of ever doing it perfectly unless you’ve already done the minimum required for that thing to be considered as ‘achieved’.

With the way things are going, it’s highly unlikely for me to do the tasks perfectly, so I’ll do what I’m usually good at when I don’t have enough time. Cutting corners. I will do my best, and my best is to do the thing completely and adequately, instead of perfectly but partially. Prioritize Prioritize Prioritize. And make sure to do whatever it is that makes you slightly uncomfortable, that’s where the gold is at.
