We all know this, that you should never judge a fish by its ability to climb trees.
Similarly, a person should know his limits.
And more importantly, his strengths.
There are many ways to achieve certain effects, so you shouldn’t be fussy about the method as long as it gets the job done.
Tailor your strategies based on what you can do with ease, and help yourself learn new skills/information by bridging it with already existing knowledge and foundation.
Many people who suffer in their daily life tend to have one of these innate differences:
Monotonous Focus, Inability to distinguish from reality and imagination, Stubbornness, Inability to accept defeat.
These skills tend to be detrimental on a person’s well-being and integration within society, if you play by typical rules that is.
If you’re alive, then it means that your genes survived for millions of years, and for that to have happened, I assure you that you have at least some winning traits within your genetic make up.
Sure, at a first sight, they don’t look like winning traits, but with some tweaks and modifications, you can hack life.
Instead of backing away from your traits, know for sure that the way to winning life is to make use of what skills you’re inherently advantaged in.
Many of you already know that people with monotonous focus tend to do better in technical fields, but worse in social fields, because of the difference in how many little stuff you need to focus on.
Monotonous focus impairs daily life because it’s the brain’s tendency to choose only one role (Program/Frame/whatnot…) to play at a time, with difficulty in transitioning.
Regular people tend to switch what identity they use depending on who they’re talking to.
The bully when they meet their pushover friend, the caring guy when they meet their sweet girlfriend, the arrogant playboy when they meat their sidepiece, and the lapdog when they meet their boss at work.
They don’t witness themselves changing ‘Identity Channels’ in real time, but they win because they do it, unconsciously.
With that, if you meditate for long enough, you’ll be able to choose what identity to embody, and increase how many identity changes you can perform without your brain checking out on you.
A simple hack would be to have a winning frame to use with everyone. One that gives you as much benefit as possible without compromising too much.
You’ll find that certain trait like attentiveness, confidence, humor, inclusiveness are well-received widely, so you can make them staples of your program.

Blurb:
Today, I noticed a change in my reactivity. I no longer need to explain myself to others at all, nor do I need to inflate my perceived image to feel good enough to participate in conversations, or to put others down. I feel like I can do anything I want in social situations, and nothing that happens to me affects me. This is eerily similar to how psychopaths navigate the world from birth, and I’m sure it’s the effect of meditation. Nonetheless, except some extra cold-heartedness, it’s been quite useful for keeping my mood at an all time-high. I don’t even get affected unless I ‘let things get into my head’ as people say.
