Day 3: How To Become The Person Of Your Dreams

Welcome again, and I hope you’re doing well! Can you tell me the difference between being a mechanic and fixing a car?

Well?

The answer is simple, the first is the real deal, while the latter is but a fake.

A nerd who tries so hard to be social and extroverted is just doing those things, but a jock is already like that. As a result, the world will be much more likely to accept the jock’s performance and give him his way when it comes to such cases.

And vice versa, when it comes to studies and learning theory, the nerd blows the jock out of the water, even if they theoretically have the same level of intelligence.

Their image of themselves affects how the world sees them, and it also limits what they can achieve in the grand scheme of things.

I’m talking about the fake it till you make it principle.

And it’s real, in case you’re wondering.

Being a guy who’s successful with women (meaning, acting the part, living the part, thinking the part, breathing the part) is much more likely to give you the success that you’re looking for, than to merely talk to more girls while seeing yourself as the previous you.

One trick that some of my friends told me about, was to have a special hat, ring or watch, and they called it the lucky item or whatever.

Essentially, they train their mind to see themselves as THE man whenever they wore the item, only thinking of their own positive qualities and what type of fun and value they could add to the venue, and how girls would love to have the chance to drink with them.

After a while, a success here and there, and they started to believe the ruse. Then, when their conscious mind forgot about it for a bit, the world started believing it, giving them the results they wanted quite easily.

It got so absurd to the point you’d feel like you were talking to different people when they were/weren’t wearing those props, and mind you, this wasn’t under the effect of any stimulants or drugs.

This is what I’ll be attempting starting today.

Only positive thoughts about myself and the world are allowed inside my brain, otherwise, my mind will be empty.

No, I won’t just be an optimist fool, that’s not my goal.

When a genuinely negative event occurs, whether I did it or someone else, I’d observe the occurrence in complete silence, as a separate event of itself, not as a metric or a lens to see the world as.

Negative thinking only helps to protect you from heartbreaks and emotional pain, and I’m through with that. Results are what matters, and positive thoughts help with that.

I have an idea of something that could work extremely well. As I visualized how my life would go on if I kept living the same life, I wasn’t happy in the slightest.

So, I thought to myself.

Since I imagined my life till its end, isn’t that the same as living a simulated (imaginary) life on a X100 speed multiplier?

No matter how farfetched it might seem, the idea is interesting, and there are all sorts of media that talk about living life and going back in time, so my conscious mind is familiar with the idea.

So, I decided to trick myself into believing that I had a glimpse into the future/came back in time, and that this is my chance at changing my life around.

Maybe this will help me take my life more seriously? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Day 3’s blurb:

As of today, I’m a person who sees good. I see opportunities, and I help others as I help myself. To be a positive contributor to the world is good, for its one of the ways to get better and be better. All the dreams I have, I can achieve them. All the people that help me, I welcome them. All knowledge that aids me, I welcome it. I’m aware that my life situation isn’t the best it could be, but I won’t give up, and with clarity of mind, I’ll do my best. No, I’ll be my best.
